First student energy club was opened in Saint-Petersburg half February 2020. The Peter the Great Polytechnic University became a platform for technology and renewable energy initiatives.

Oil and gas companies need innovative production and resource management technologies from which the idea came to establish this platform. Students, postgraduates and university graduates create scientific projects and can collaborate with start-uppers. Through these projects they can collaborate on developing projects in the field of traditional and renewable energy.

This is a unique opportunity for students because they will work with the best performing companies in Russia. Participants will have the opportunity to visit Russian largest companies and expand their professional knowledge. In addition to project activities, summer internships and networking events with HR departments of energy companies will be organised.

The energy club will also partner up with international companies. The first official technology partner is 'Gazprom Neft'. It is a very successful platform that is going to offer many growth opportunities for young Russian students.
