A win-win all the way: A Letter of Intent (LOI) and a bilateral agreement. Startup.Flanders and the Catalan ACCIO and Tech Barcelona join forces. This powerful trio welcomes future startups from one another with open arms!
Startup.Flanders, a subpart of Flanders Investment and Trade, and ACCIO join forces. Piet Demunter, COO of FIT, and Albert Castellanos Maduell, CEO of ACCIO, signed a Letter of Intent. Both parties are excited to construct and further develop an ecosystem for Flemish and Catalan startups. Barcelona is ranked number three most attractive startup hub, according to recent numbers of the EU Heatmap. But also the Catalans are excited to collaborate with Flanders.
But there is even more. Startup Flanders takes the next step. Together with Tech Barcelona, Startup.Flanders signed a bilateral agreement. Tech Barcelona and Startup.Flanders join forces as partners in the field. Together they invest in an international vision for startups to stimulate young entrepreneurship. Together they offer the practical advantages for startups.
By joining forces, Startup.Flanders is giving Flemish startups the ecosystem they seek. The bilateral agreement between Startup.Flanders and Tech Barcelona is the start of a longterm collaboration. Both parties will also organize annual events and activities together. The first of which is planned in the sideline of BioEurope coming spring.
