Volvo to produce fifth model at Ghent

The Volvo Cars assembly plant at Ghent is investing 40 million euro to produce a fifth model at the facility, De Morgen newspaper reports.

Following a 340 million euro investment that began in 2000, the plant expanded capacity and started producing the new S40 and V50 models in addition to the S60 and V70. Production of the new fifth model is expected to create around 100 extra jobs.
