Ubizen expands training college

Ubizen, the Flanders-based supplier of managed security solutions to businesses worldwide, is to expand Ubizen College, a training institute that offers corporate IT specialists instruction in e-security technology and guidance on hacker methodologies.

"Hackers are constantly developing more sophisticated techniques to exploit vulnerabilities. The result is an increased number of network security breaches," said Stijn Bijnens, Ubizen CEO. "The best way to combat network intruders is to stay at least one step ahead of them. Training is one of the key elements in this defense and a critical service Ubizen provides to customers through Ubizen College."

Ubizen College offers both standardized and customized training that can be delivered from the College headquarters or on-site at the customer location. Standard courses include: security awareness for PC users, the IT security framework, fundamentals of IT security, and advanced firewalls and VPN concepts.
