Singapore connects with Europe

Vice president of Marketing Planning at Singapore Airlines Tan Kai Ping: “With this route, Singapore Changi Airport will be connected to 20 cities in Europe. This announcement shows the airline’s commitment to constantly expanding our network reach.”

5.4 million passengers traveled between Singapore and Europe in the past year, a 7% increase since last year,” he added.

Brussels Airport also on the rise in Asia

In the last ten years, Brussels Airport has gained connections to Shenzhen (Hainan Airlines), Tokyo (ANA), Bangkok (Thai Airways) and Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific). Hainan Airlines has offered direct Brussels-Beijing flights since 2006, but suspended its Brussels-Shanghai flights in 2019.
