Rensair’s air purification units are used by hospitals across Scandinavia and National Healthcare Service (NHS) trusts in the UK. Tested and verified by various independent labs, these portable solutions offer a simple and 99.97% effective way to eliminate all viruses and bacteria from the air – including the coronavirus family of pathogens.
Here’s how the Rensair system works:
A powerful fan pulls air into a HEPA 13 filter where bacteria and viruses are trapped and exposed to a strong UVC light.
Unlike in standard air filtration systems, the light destroys the DNA and RNA of all microorganisms, eliminating them and preventing further transmission.
Then, the system expels clean air in a full 360° distribution.
Rensair’s patented technology was developed in Denmark in 2002 by engineer Henrik Hendriksen, the father of Rensair co-founder Christian. What drove Henrik was a desire to improve on the available air filtration systems on the market to help his son cope with severe allergies. The system proved to be so effective that it quickly found its way into numerous hospitals and care homes. It has recently also been adopted by a number of NHS trusts to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK.
