The Total Depot tanks – which are situated at the Port of Zeebrugge in Flanders and have a combined storage capacity of 20,000 m³ of marine fuel – will be used to supply ships in Belgian, French, British and Dutch ports as well as offshore.

Prax (UK) to use Total Depot (Flanders) as European base
The site will be rebranded as Prax Terminals Belgium, and the employees currently working there will all remain on board. “From this strategic location in the outer port – before the locks – we can quickly supply customers at sea between the UK and North-West Europe,” says Geert Boden, managing director of Harvest Energy Marine. “Although we are also active as a bunkering company in Antwerp and Rotterdam, we chose Zeebrugge as the location for our first terminal in Flanders.”
The port opens up an interesting market of car carriers, container lines, ro-ro operators and cruise lines. In addition, Zeebrugge is an ideal operating base with short lead times to ports in France, the Netherlands and the UK. For many English ports, Zeebrugge is simply the nearest European location.
It’s safe to say that Harvest Marine Energy is no stranger to Flanders. In November 2019, the company strengthened its activities at the Port of Zeebrugge with a chartered barge after winning a long-term contract with a shipping company.
