Lingang (CN) invests EUR 85.3 million in Zeebrugge

On May 17, at the ‘Summit of Bruges’ the Port of Zeebrugge announced that Shanghai Lingang Economic Development Group will be investing EUR 85.3 million in the port’s Maritime Logistic Zone to establish a service and distribution park.

‘One park, two centers China/Europe’

The EUR 85.3 investment will be used to establish a 30,000 square meter logistics park under the banner ‘One park, two centers China/Europe’. The objective is to attract Chinese and other international logistics players for the transport of components and refridgerated freight and e-commerce between China and Western Europe. For this project, Lingang will cooperate with the Chinese container operator COSCO Shipping Ports.
