The site of action is Labcorp Drug Development’s European Operations Center in Mechelen, which opened in March 2021. Since then, the multi-use facility has produced over 1.1 million trial kits, which are used across Europe to support clinical studies in oncology, diabetes, kidney disease, autoimmune conditions and more. This only adds to Flanders’ clinical trial and study credentials. In addition to the production of clinical trial kits, the Flanders-based Labcorp site is also responsible for clinical study logistics and support as well as dry ice production and distribution.
