Frozen food company expands

Frigo Lommel, a company specialized in storing and distributing frozen food, has expanded its storage capacity from 20,000 to 35,000 euro-pallets – the equivalent of a thousand truck-loads.

The company has seen substantial growth over the past five years as manufacturers, both international and local, increasingly sub-contract their frozen storage requirements. In those five years Frigo Lommel has invested some 10 million euro at its facility.

Products are distributed on a daily basis to the Benelux countries as well as Germany and France. In addition, there are regular shipments to destinations further afield, including Japan.
