The hands-on experience prevails
Online stores are now increasingly opening physical stores, as people want to try out a product before buying it. Bastiaan Hagenouw, manager of Fietsenwinkel.nl: “We started selling bikes online in 2012. After opening physical stores in the Netherlands last year, sales went through the roof. We realize now that our presence on the streets is necessary to continuing our growth. That’s why we are setting up physical shops all over Flanders.”
