Cyient (India) finds R&D center in Flanders
Twenty years ago, AnSem was founded as a spin-off of research center imec in Leuven, Flanders. It has a revenue of $ 10 Million and an operating margin of more than 20%. Having a strong team of technical and domain experts, it has built a global reputation for chip- and nanotechnology. The merger with Cyient will further reinforce this expertise. “It will enable us to be in pole position,” says CEO and co-founder Stefan Gogaert.
The acquisition provides Cyient with an R&D center of excellence for chips and digital sensors, which will enable clients to collect IoT data for industrial, automotive and medical applications. “Through this acquisition, we can help clients capture data while leveraging our IoT and analytics solutions to provide actionable insights”, explains Suman Narayan, Senior Vice President for Semiconductor, IoT, and Analytics at Cyient.
