CNH takes on 100 more staff

The Case New Holland (CNH) component plant in Antwerp, Flanders, is to take on an additional 100 staff, the company has announced. The plant, formerly Ford Tractor, makes components for agricultural machinery and is looking to have all 100 new staff appointed prior to the summer.

The Antwerp facility is one of two CNH plants in Flanders. The other is located at Zedelgem and makes combines, forage harvesters and large rectangular balers.

Based in the United States, CNH's agricultural products are sold under the Case IH, New Holland and Steyr brands. CNH construction equipment is sold under the Case, FiatAllis, Fiat Kobelco, Kobelco, New Holland and O&K brands. Group revenues in 2002 totaled $10 billion.
