Baltimore Aircoil Expands European HQ

Baltimore Aircoil, the US-based specialist in evaporative cooling, heat transfer and thermal storage equipment, is renovating and expanding its European headquarters at Heist-op-den-Berg, Flanders.

Construction of a new 1,200 square meter wing will more than double the size of the current HQ premises and results from the continuing growth and development of the company. Construction work is expected to be completed by February next year with renovation of the existing premises scheduled for completion in June.

The work follows last year’s expansion of the site’s production facility to some 21,000 square meters. Baltimore Aircoil’s production facility at Heist-op-den-Berg is one of three in Europe and the company’s largest worldwide. With 360 personnel and turnover of around 40 million euro, the Flanders plant exports to other European countries, the Middle East and North Africa.
