Active in industries such as chemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals and utilities, IPCOS operates 6 offices in Europe, the US and India. Established in 1995, the company employs some 70 people and came into management’s hands in 2013, when the shares were acquired from KBC Private Equity. Now, it will become part of ATS Corporation, a publicly traded Canadian group with over 6,000 employees worldwide.
Within ATS, IPCOS will join Process Automation Solutions (PA), a Germany-based provider of automation and digitalization solutions for the process and manufacturing industries. With a strong focus on process optimization, IPCOS will speed up PA’s strategy to drive productivity improvement through digital solutions.
IPCOS broadens our process optimization and digitalization capabilities in our key focus sectors. Its strong domain knowledge can be offered to our existing customers as a value add to our leading digitalization platform. What’s more, IPCOS will speed up PA's growth trajectory and further strengthen our value proposition.
On the other hand, “being part of PA will accelerate IPCOS’ strategy to grow in digital services and new customer segments by leveraging PA’s extensive technological expertise, global footprint and customer access,” says IPCOS CEO Filip Stroobant.
