From trophy-winning newcomer to loyal fan of Flanders... In just a few years, AGP Group has built up an impressive track record in Belgium’s northern region. In January 2022, the global leader in high-tech automotive glazing design and manufacturing announced that its current European main office – situated in Ghent, Flanders – will become its global headquarters.

At home in Flanders’ advanced manufacturing ecosystem

AGP Group first set foot on Flanders’ soil in 2018 when it acquired Soliver in Roeselare. Not much later, the company opened a brand-new, state-of-the-art and innovative ‘factory of the future’ in Ghent. Known since 2019 as “AGP eGlass Ghent”, the cutting-edge site focuses on designing and manufacturing panoramic roofs and specialized windshields – destined for premium automotive assemblers and manufacturers across the European continent.

Close to Europe and the world

Choosing Ghent (Flanders) as the location for its global HQ enables AGP Group to work more closely with key stakeholders around the world. What’s more, the decision is in line with its overall strategy of establishing a strong global footprint that features close proximity to AGP Group customers across Europe, North America and Asia. Today, the company’s European footprint includes two manufacturing facilities in Flanders, two tech innovation centers in Germany and Italy, and commercial units across the continent.
