At last in 2018 the Law on Organic Products, another promising niche on the Russian Food market, was adopted in Russia. The law will come into force in 2020. During Prodexpo-2019, the Prodexpo Organic Salon was represented by the companies which have organic certificates valid for February 2019.

Thus, the Exhibition can be recommended for Flemish companies which have their plans to start their business activity on the Russian food market, it can be considered as an efficient marketing tool as their first step to develop client base in Russia.

Of course, there are some difficulties related to the food embargo imposed by the Russian Government in 2014, but the companies, which are working in food sectors not covered by the sanctions, evaluate the high potential of Russian food market and continue develop their business activity on it and sign new contracts.

However, the ultimate measure of success of each exhibition or Trade event is the number of signed contracts or memorandum of co-operation, and according to expert opinion, Prodexpo is a leader in this field. Thus, it a right place to find a reliable clients and promote your company especially on the early stage of your activity in Russia.
