New service base for airplanes will be build in Poland

Polish Aviation Group – the enterprise created by the Polish government in January 2018 - will build a service base for airplanes owned by the LOT (Polish Airlines).

The plans for investments were announced by the Polish Aviation Group. The service center for airplanes will be created at the Reszw-Jasionka airport and will operate and service planes like i.e. Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 777 and Airbus A350. It will be the biggest service base in Central and Eastern Europe.

The President of the Board of the Polish Aviation Group, Mr. Rafał Milczarski and Marshall of the Podkarpackie region, Mr. Władysław Otyl have signed the letter of intent in September 2018.

The investor will be the Polish Aviation Group together with the LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOT AMS).

High qualified engineers and aircraft mechanics will be employed in the new technical service base. The cooperation with Aviation Valley and University of Technology in Rzeszow is planned.
