According to the State Report there has been registered some marginal economic progress during 2017-2018 such as: GDP growth of 4%, stabilization of the inflation and financial system. One of the key factors that has allowed the economy to grow and diversify in recent years has been the facilitated access to the European market, Moldova benefitting from a DCFTA (Deep Comprehensive Free Trade Area) with the EU since 2014.
