Last week, Ahlers had a grand opening of the new headquarters office in Saint Petersburg, reaching an important milestone in company’s success. The opening ceremony was attended by the Belgian-Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Consul General of Belgium in Saint Petersburg, Mr. Hans Timbremont, representatives of the Leningrad region government and business partners.

Russia and the CIS region are strategic markets for Ahlers. The company has been present in Russia since 1993. Antwerp and Saint Petersburg have been twin-cities since 1958 and are well-known for their business cooperation and international trade. The opening of the new head office is an important step in the future growth of Ahlers in response to an increasing demand for logistic services in the region. 

With its € 3,5 million investment, the new office is the largest office building and biggest investment in office facilities for Ahlers in recent years. The new office is designed for future growth and expansion. It offers 3.000 m² of contemporary workspace including break-out rooms, a state-of-the-art auditorium, a green room for video conferencing and much more.

The new head office will service Russia and the CIS region. It will represent a natural gateway to support Western European and Asian client bases.
